Spacecraft capture Sun 'burps'

Nasa's Stereo orbiters have captured stunning images of violent eruptions from the Sun.

This timelapse footage, taken over 10 days, shows Coronal Mass Ejections, or "solar burps", spewing from the Sun's surface and hitting a passing comet.
