Astronauts get ready for Columbus
Spacewalk (Nasa)
Harmony was delivered to the station on the last shuttle mission
Two astronauts have carried out a spacewalk to complete the wiring for the newest room on the space station.

Commander Peggy Whitson and Daniel Tani hooked up connections linking the platform and the Harmony compartment.

Harmony will become the docking port for a new European laboratory being added to the orbiting outpost.

The Columbus laboratory sits in the cargo bay of space shuttle Atlantis, which is on a Florida launch pad and set to lift off on 6 December.
