My Media - Christmas 2011

Is there a top tech gift you'd like for Christmas? School Reporters have been interviewing each other about the gifts they'd like to see in their stockings this year - and who they'd like to help get online.

Chloe, 15, from Chaucer Technology School in Kent:

If I were to give an hour showing someone how to get online it would be... my best mate. Why? Because we could muck around on games.

My favourite game... Angry birds.

I'm listening to Lady Gaga - Marry the Night

Annie, 16, from Thomas Hardye School in Dorset:

My favourite websites would have to be a social networking site - Facebook.

On average I send about 250 texts a week.

Chris, 16, Thomas Hardye School:

I find music on Spotify.

I would buy my brother a PS3 so he wouldn't have to keep go on my Xbox.

Nick, aged 16 says:

My favourite site would be Youtube. My top ten Christmas present would be an Xbox 360.

My favourite game at the moment would be Battlefield 3.

I don't send any text messages.

I would buy my sister an iPod to keep her quiet.

Tom aged 13 says:

Probably YouTube or Facebook because I spend most time on it. I've always got it open.

Or maybe my email. They'd be my top three.

Jack, 14: Mine would be my email.

Samual, 15, from Chaucer Technology School:

My top tech Christmas present would be iPad2.

If I were to give an hour showing someone something online it would be airsofting - my hobby.

My favourite game at the moment is Skyrim on PS3.

I'm watching Airsoft videos on YouTube.

And I'm listening to The Streets.

Jake, aged 15:

My favourite website I will sadly admit, Facebook.

I'm watching QI and Eastenders.

I'm listening to Redneck by Lamb of God. I listen to all genres of music but I am most inspired by metal at the present moment. This I can say is due to my band, which are called 'Dead Silence'.

I send roughly 100 texts in one month, as that is the bolt-on I am with.

If I were to give an hour showing someone something online I'd show them Facebook - and that it provides many hours of useless entertainment. When they are on Facebook, I'd show them my band page and ask them to like it.

Philip aged 16 writes:

I'm listening to Bon Jovi.

I send about 300 texts a month.

I rate music - nothing better.

My top tech Christmas present would be a Beats laptop... so good.

If I were to give an hour showing someone how to get online, it would be all about Facebook, cause everyone likes it. And I'd show them YouTube.
