The boxing club has had an impact across the school

The success of the after-school Boxing Club is the good news story of the School Report News Day for students at Grange Technology College in Bradford.

The club was set up two years ago with the help of the college's sports department and it's had a huge impact, according to teacher Mira Oljanuk.

More than 40 dedicated students are now members of the club and they've been training up to twice a week to improve their skills.

Sixth form students also help out with regular fitness training and there are plans for students to enter some boxing competitions.

There's a strict behavioural code which students have to meet if they want to join the club and it's been a wonderful experience for all of the school, says Ms Oljanuk.
