Will thinking pink stop the yobs?

School News Reporters are investigating plans to install pink street lighting to discourage teenagers from congregating on the street - as the colour shows up their spots.

Reporters at Shepshed High School in Loughborough have sent out a team to conduct radio interviews.

The idea is to install the lights on streets in Mansfield, while Charnwood Borough Council wants to set up CCTV cameras in Loughborough, says Anna from Year 8.

"A lot of people hang around at night," she says, "so it might work".

But putting together the report in time for their bulletin is tough going. "It's really stressing me out," says Anna.
