How Ninette de Valois took the dance to Turkey

Ninette de Valois is regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of ballet and the dance world has been marking ten years since her death.

She's most famous as the founder of the Royal Ballet here in Britain. What's less well-known is that she also took ballet to Turkey.

She established a school there in 1948 and eventually the Turkish State Ballet, as Kathy Harcombe reports.
