Egypt protests: UN calls for a transition of power

The United Nations Secretary-General says the transition of power in Egypt should start immediately.

Ban Ki-moon said the demonstration across the county reflected great frustrations among Egyptians.

He said that all parties should now begin negotiations to resolve the crisis.

Fighting between supporters and opponents of President Mubarak has resulted in several deaths and hundreds of injuries.

Zeinab Badawi spoke to Ban Ki-moon about the situation in Egypt and the future of President Mubarak.
