Mexico's justice system on trial


The reform of Mexico's judicial system has been a long standing challenge as authorities fight a battle against organised crime.

Reports of miscarriages of justice are rampant, and there are chilling statistics on the system's lack of efficiency. Now, several high profile cases and an award winning documentary have put the country's justice system under the spotlight.
