Vivian Maier: 'a patron of the poor'

Vivian Maier was an amateur street photographer, and full-time nanny, who took over 100,000 photographs. Maier's photos were unknown and mostly undeveloped until they were discovered in an abandoned storage unit by historian John Maloof in 2007.

Katty Kay speaks to Maloof about the discovery and what the work says about the photographer and the time in which they were taken.
