GM animals: weird science or food of the future?


From fast-growing GM salmon to eco-friendly 'Enviro-pigs', the science of genetically-modified animals throws-up important questions.

Are the animals safe to eat? What are the risks? And if GM animals offer big benefits, should we not embrace them as food of the future?
