President's appeal in Mexico drug war

Mexico's president, Felipe Calderon, has appealed to the nation in a televised address to help combat the escalation of violent drug battles that have rocked the country.

His appeal follows a shootout between the Mexican military and members of a drug cartel which resulted in the death of 15 people. Julian Miglierini reports from Mexico City.
