Drug addiction takes its toll on Afghanistan

Despite years of burning, razing and destroying the poppy fields of Afghanistan, drug addiction runs rampant. The country was once just the supplier of opium and heroin to the world, but now its own people are abusing the drugs - with the number of addicts doubling in the last four years.

Ian Pannell reports on how addiction is taking its toll on entire families, in one of the most remote regions of Afghanistan.
