Indian PM Manmohan Singh to meet Obama for talks

The Indian prime minister, Manmohan Singh has arrived in the United States for a state visit. He will be the guest of honour at the first state dinner held by President Barack Obama.

On the political agenda are the hot button issues of climate change and the economy.
