Paddy is the Man Friday of Working Lunch.

He arrives at work one day a week for us by scooter, and sits at Adrian's desk, surrounded by a lot of stuff about football, a sport which is a mystery to him.

He's the BBC's former Wall Street Presenter and used to report for Working Lunch from New York as far back as 1999.

We know he loves family firms, and bright ideas, and he claims to have invented several products that now are made by international companies.

We can't vouch for that.

He's also worked in marketing, catering, and agriculture, and is the presenter of Broadcasting House on Radio Four on Sunday mornings.
