Eight hundred years ago the English armies of the Black Prince rampaged through France burning and looting.

Now Les Anglais are back, but this time, they're renovating.

And it's the Dordogne, in Aquitaine, owned by the English in the 14th century, which is once again facing the brunt of the new invasion.

When a group of Working Lunch viewers invited us out to hear their experiences and pick up some tips for anyone wanting to do the same, well it was an offer we couldn't refuse.
