I kept trying to remain open-minded while watching Psychic Vietnam but the overwhelming emotion I actually felt was anger; anger that these vulnerable people were being made promises that were impossible to keep. I hope these families do find comfort, but most of all I hope they find truth, which they deserve above all.

That is why the BBC is so great! Another crown to your acclaim as the best documentary provider. Really amazing and thought-provoking programme.

Even as a Vietnamese, I watched the trailer with scepticism and felt rather angry that some so-called "psychic" people are taking advantage of others' sufferings. But after watching the programme, I found it very moving indeed and even informative - I have never heard of the existence of such a parapsychology department, or the government's approval of it. And although still sceptical, I'm glad that some sort of comfort can be brought to those people whose losses are so great and enduringly painful.

My grandmother died during the attack of the US embassy in Saigon in 1968. Her body was never found. We didn't know exactly when she was killed but about six years ago, with a help of a psychic in the north, we were able to locate her grave. He didn't go with us but he was on the phone to guide my parents to the grave. He also gave them many signs to make sure we got the right grave. He told us a big butterfly should fly into our house in Saigon. It did happen. It's very rare for a butterfly to fly into a house in a big crowded city like Saigon. Finally, we had a closure.

There will never be real proof about things going on in ones mind. I am a nurse and worked for two years in Germany in a psychogenic department in the end of the 1980s. This department researched the connection between physical abnormal symptoms and psychological reason. Here I learned that everything is possible. It was the most fascinating place I have ever worked in.

Just finished watching the programme Psychic Vietnam, which I found very moving. As a frequent visitor to the country, and having travelled to many of its provinces I have also visited the cemetaries, where one begins to understand the great sacrificies made by the people of Vietnam. With over 300,000 still missing your programme brought this home very clearly.
