Is one of Gordon Brown's less appreciated political problems that he is failing to connect with women -- either in the electorate, or even within his own Government.

. His latest cabinet is by some distance the most male of the New Labour years and just this afternoon Radio Four's Martha Kearney revealed the gender gap in the party ranks in a special programme -- Gordon's Women..

It's a subject for our political panel, all men, including the former Labour minister Parmjit Dhanda, the shadow culture secretary Ed Vaizey, and the Liberal Democrat transport spokesman, Norman Baker.
