You may have thought that the argument over post office closures, hard fought though it was, had now come to an end.

Now that he has taken on the job of Business Secretary Lord Mandelson is the man ultimately in charge - and he's appearing before the select committee that scrutinises his department for the first time on Tuesday.

Lindsay Hoyle is a Labour member of that committee - he wants assurances on the future of the post office.
