Facing up to forced marriage

Forced marriage remains an issue that affects thousands of young people in Britain and around the world.

Now a Parliamentary committee has recommended making forced marriages a criminal offence in Britain.

Existing legislation in the United Kingdom allows victims to seek an injunction to prevent forced marriages.

Tim Willcox speaks to Jasvinder Sanghera, founder of Karma Nirvana and Hassan Khan, a barrister who represents victims.
