Three major international broadcasters have condemned Iran for its "deliberate electronic interference" in their broadcasts.

The BBC, Deutsche Welle and Voice of America say the jamming began on Thursday as Iran marked the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

They say Iran is broadcasting freely around the world, but denying its own people programmes coming from outside.

Nik spoke to Peter Horrocks, the Director of Global News at the BBC.

The Hub with Nik Gowing is broadcast Monday to Fridays at 1600, 1630 and 1700 GMT on the BBC World News channel. Find out more information about regional broadcast times here.
