Iceland sends jumpers to help the UK

Icelanders have put aside their financial problems to send woolly jumpers to the UK after a radio interview warned one in 12 British pensioners could die this winter because of the cold.

Radio presenter Heimir Karlsson explained the appeal which has seen a shipload of woolly jumpers packed up and en route to Immingham on the Humber estuary.
