Zeynep Fadillioglu is an award-winning interior designer who was born and raised in Istanbul, but has completed projects all around the world including the UK, France, Germany, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, India, Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Holland and Turkey.
She studied Computer Science at Sussex Univeristy in England before going on to complete a course in Art History and Design at the Inchbald School of Design in London.
In 1995 she set up own company, Zeynep Fadillioglu, which now employs a design team including architects, interior designers, landscape designers, textile and colour experts, industrial designers and graphic artists.
Together they have finalised over 100 projects, designing residential interiors, hotels, restaurants, mosques and shops.
In 2002 Zeynep was named the House & Garden International Interior Designer of the Year and her design for an apartment overlooking the Bosphorus in Istanbul won her the Modern Residential Interior category in the 2005 Design and Decoration Awards in London.
Zeynep's work on the Sakiri Mosque in Istanbul gained much attention as it made her the first woman in Turkey to design a mosque.
