Every Sunday, the church ensemble and choir make a joyful noise in the form of the Coltrane Liturgy: a unique combination of the Divine Liturgy of the African Orthodox Church with the melodies, harmonies and rhythms of John Coltrane's masterpiece, A Love Supreme.
All are welcome and everyone is encouraged to participate in the service by singing along, clapping their hands, and dancing. If you play an instrument you are encouraged to bring it along and join in.
The Divine Liturgy at Saint John's is every Sunday from 12 noon to 3 pm.
