Harriet has had an extremely varied career at the BBC, working as a production secretary on programmes such as Start the Week.
She has also worked as a studio manager, a news director in television, and as a senior producer in radio news.
For some years she was also at the BBC's Westminster offices, producing live TV political programmes, and outside broadcasts from the party conferences.
She's also presented, reported for, and edited BBC Radio 4's Today in Parliament programme.
Harriet recently graduated with a first class honours degree from the Open University.
