Ken Clarke backs government policy to create jobs

Justice Minister Ken Clarke was challenged over economic strategy today compared to 1993, when as Chancellor he also faced a large government deficit and debt burden.

He backed the government's strategy on creating jobs, pointing out that it took time to bring down unemployment in the 1990s.
