'Give up bonus' Jeremy Browne urges RBS boss Stephen Hester

Lib Dem minister Jeremy Browne has urged the boss of the largely publicly owned Royal Bank of Scotland, to give up a bonus of £963,000 in shares he has been awarded.

The Foreign Office minister said Stephen Hester should reflect that he was "effectively a public servant" and earned in three days what a soldier serving on the front line in Afghanistan earned in a year.
