Smith admits expenses 'disgrace'

Jacqui Smith has admitted on BBC One's Question Time that her reputation was "disgraced" by the expenses scandal.

Ms Smith designated her sister's house in London, which she shares, as her "main home" and then claimed second home allowances on her family home.

She told the programme that she did not think people who had been disgraced should be able to go to the House of Lords.
