Green Party spokesman, Adrian Ramsay, came on the Politics Show this week to discuss biofuels..

Adrian said before going into the studio: "We need to emphasise the real impact for food security and the developing world if the government's targets go ahead this week and continue to be expanded.

Biofuels lead to more and more greenhouse gas emissions because of the loss of peat lands and rainforests."

Shadow Leader of the House of Commons, Theresa May took time to relax a little and catch up on the news before the Jon Sopel interview, where she revealed her thoughts on what might be done to deal with the breakdown of trust between the public and politicians...

In the interview, Theresa May said:

"I think the reason we should look at it seriously is because it is right that there is this break down of faith, there is this break-down of trust between the people and politicians and we have to do things to restore that trust."

Shadow Treasury Minister, David Gauke MP, in the Politics Show 'green room' before going onto the programme to talk about proposed changes to tax rules that will affect family businesses.

He said before his interview with Jon Sopel:

"On a day when the Sunday papers are full of criticism of Alistair Darling, I'm doing an interview on another area where the Government is heading for a row with business - the Government's proposals on income shifting which will impose a huge new administrative burden on family business."
