Graham Bradley and Panorama reporter Andy Davies
Graham Bradley is confronted by Andy Davies
Panorama could make a follow-up programme about corruption in horse racing, according to the show's producer.

Stephen Scott, said new information had come into the Panorama offices after the programme was broadcast on October 6.

He said: "The phones ring, as they do when these sort of allegations are made.

"I'm at the moment looking at some quite serious allegations about a leading bookmaker and there are other stories about a couple of Jockey Club members that we've been informed about.

"What we've done is only the tip of the iceberg."

Worthwhile

Mr Scott said he was still researching new leads, and would be until the end of October when a final decision would be made on whether to proceed with a second programme.

He added that Panorama would only make a follow-up if it was worthwhile and not going to fall flat after such a high profile programme.

The Corruption of Racing, was one of the most eagerly awaited documentaries in the history of horse racing, attracting countless column inches and 4m viewers.

High Court

It made allegations linking leading jockeys like Graham Bradley with drug smuggler Brian Wright and the Jockey Club┐s inability to do anything about it.

The BBC had to fight two High Court battles, one from leading bookmaker Victor Chandler and one from the Jockey Club, before the programme could be shown.
