Practical support for people affected by severe mental illness, whether they have a condition themselves, care for others who do, or are professionals or volunteers working in the mental health field.

Mental Health Care

Mental Health Care is aimed at anyone providing support to someone experiencing mental illness. The web site contains information about mental health and mental illness, research findings from the Institute of Psychiatry and South London and Maudsley Trust and personal stories written by carers.


Aimed at young teens. Provides information and advice about drugs and other health issues.

Families Anonymous

Support for the relatives and friends of people with drug problems.

A self-help group run by recovering addicts with a network of meetings across the country.
