Panorama reports on the dramatic events of the week that changed the war in Afghanistan - John Simpson with the advancing Northern Alliance, William Reeve in embattled Kabul in the last hours under Taleban Control.

The programme includes previously unseen footage of the assault on the capital and of the initial chaos and gunlaw on the streets of Kabul.

As the British troops arrive to safeguard the airport a new battle unfolds - for the post war control of liberated Afghanistan.
