Iranian art and social commentary

Kirsty Wark is joined by the academic Baroness Haleh Afshar, the author Azadeh Moaveni, and the journalist Jonathan Freeland to debate what the recent artistic endeavour of Iranians can teach us about the place, the politics, and Western attitudes.

Here they discuss an exhibition of work from a selection of artists who live in Tehran. Despite restrictions on their artistic freedoms - many of them have still produced work laden with subtle social commentary.
