Iran and storytelling

Kirsty Wark is joined by the academic Baroness Haleh Afshar, the author Azadeh Moaveni, and the journalist Jonathan Freeland to debate what the recent artistic endeavour of Iranians can teach us about the place, the politics, and Western attitudes.

Here they discuss the film Shirin, in which the responses of Iranian women to storytelling are explored.
