Bringing post-revolution Iran to new audiences

Kirsty Wark is joined by the academic Baroness Haleh Afshar, the author Azadeh Moaveni, and the journalist Jonathan Freeland to debate what the recent artistic endeavour of Iranians can teach us about the place, the politics, and Wstern attitudes.

Two women writers in particular have brought the story of of post revolutionary Iran to new Western audiences. But have they clarified, or simplified our notions of the country and its rulers?
