This week a specially scheduled Newsnight Review looking back on the musical legacy of Michael Jackson.

Tributes from stars and fans have been pouring in for the singer, who has died aged 50 after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Los Angeles home.

Tonight Kirsty Wark will be joined by the music critics Paul Morley, Miranda Sawyer and Jacqueline Springer, and the playwright and singer Kwame Kwei Armah, to discuss Jackson's life and death, and his influence on pop - from motown to rap.

Newsnight Review is on BBC Two on Friday 26 June 2009 at 11pm.
