The man who lives in the Star Trek house

Tony Alleyne decided to turn his flat into a Star Trek spaceship after his wife left him. He now lives amid the transporter deck and LCARS control panels in Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Newsnight Review panellist Natalie Haynes reports from the Star Trek house on the programme tonight, at 11pm on BBC Two, and tells us why we should all take Star Trek seriously.
