Tony Parsons

He was born in Romford, Essex in 1953.

Tony started his career as a journalist at the New Musical Express when he was 22 years old, and wrote about punk, which was taking Britain by storm at that time

Tony Parsons is the author of the bestsellers, Man and Boy , One For My Baby and Man and Wife all reaching no.1 in the Sunday Times Bestseller List.

Man and Boy has been translated into 37 languages and Tony was awarded the Book of Year Award at the Industry's UK Annual Book Awards in 2001.

One for My Baby and Man and Wife have both been translated into more than 30 languages.

Tony is one of Britain's top columnists, his weekly Monday commentary being read by over 2 million people.

He was a regular contributor to GQ , and in his time has written for publications as diverse as the The Face , Marie Claire , Daily Mail , Arena , Guardian , Elle , Daily Telegraph , The Spectator , the Sunday Times and Red .

He presented a highly successful three part series for BBC2 Parsons on Class , which attracted audiences of 6.1 million.

Tony lives in London with his wife Yuriko and daughter Jasmine. He also has a son, Robert.
