Musical manifestos

In a busy world, not everyone has the time to sit down and read the parties' manifestos cover to cover.

To lighten the load, and sugar the pill, Newsnight has set the parties' positions on some of the key issues of the day to music.

David Schweitzer, the musical maestro behind "The Luckiest Nut in the World", has written the songs, and animators Rubberductions, the brains behind satirical website Spinon, have provided the visuals.

Everything you need to know about the politicians' stance on Europe, security and the economy in a swingin' 2 minutes!
