Lord Prescott: Press and police's 'contempt of trust'

Lord Prescott has said he believed there was a 'conspiracy of silence' between quarters of the police and the media to hide the facts around the phone hacking scandal.

Former chief constable of Thames Valley Police Peter Neyroud and Former Daily Mirror crime correspondent Jeff Edwards joined Lord Prescott in condemning the practice of payments to police officers for stories.
