Academy exclusions: 'My daughter should sit her GCSEs'

Academies were set up to improve the chances of students at some of England's worst performing schools and schools situated in communities with low academic aspirations.

However, some are being accused of unofficially pushing some students out under the pressure of performing well in the league tables.

Newsnight's Liz MacKean spoke to 15-year-old Chloe and her mother Donna about her exclusion.
