Director JC Chandor on banking thriller Margin Call

JC Chandor is the writer-director of new film Margin Call, a thriller set in an investment bank during a perilous 24-hour period in the early stages of the 2008 credit crunch.

Here he talks to Newsnight's Kirsty Wark about the banking culture which has imbued his film and the disconnect between those running the world's financial powerhouses and what they are doing.

Broadcast on Friday 6 January 2012.
