Donald Rumsfeld was US Defence Secretary in the Bush administration at the time of the 9/11 attacks on Washington and New York.

Here he talks to Newsnight's Kirsty Wark about the ongoing unrest in Syria, why he thinks what happens there is of much greater significance to the US than events in Libya, and what should be done.
