Papandreou: Greece working hard to tackle corruption

The Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou tells Kirsty Wark that his country is working hard to tackle tax evasion and corruption. He says the Greek public sector had previously been mismanaged and that there had been a lack of transparency.

Greece has been suffering a severe economic crisis, and the government is imposing a swathe of austerity measures in return for a 110bn-euro (£95bn) bail-out from the EU and IMF.

Broadcast on Thursday 24 June 2010.
