The Gaza Strip has been capturing the headlines in recent weeks following the deadly Israeli raid on an aid flotilla trying to break its blockade on the Hamas-controlled territory.

The other piece of Palestinian territory is the West Bank where the Palestinian Authority is building economic development in the hope that this will inevitably lead to statehood.
