A day in the life of an Afghan street child

Ten-year-old Nargis has been working since she was just six in order to support her family. Her mother looks after Nargis' three brothers and three sisters at home. Her father is a drug addict and unable to work to provide for the family.

Nargis is one of the tens of thousands of street children who work in the Afghan capital, Kabul, and who are the main breadwinners in their families.
