Karl Rove: Proud that waterboarding made world safer

In his first British broadcast interview since the Bush presidency ended, Karl Rove, President George W Bush's deputy chief of staff, talks to Newsnight's Kirsty Wark.

Mr Rove's soon to be published book Courage and Consequence is a memoir of the Bush presidency by one of his closest advisers.
