Ed Balls MP Secretary of State for Children and his Conservative shadow Michael Gove clash over the future of education funding in the UK.

They, and the Liberal Democrat shadow David Laws, were taking part in a special edition of Newsnight examining why education is set to be a key battleground issue at the next election chaired by Jeremy Paxman.
