Radical Tobin Tax proposal could go mainstream

UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy have agreed to higher taxes on performance pay. And a so-called Tobin Tax, a suggested tax on global financial transactions, has also been pushed by France and the UK. It is seen by many as a possible way to help insure against future crises.

Newsnight's economics editor Paul Mason reports.
