Audio slideshow: The V&A patchwork group

V&A museum staff are getting together for one hour every week during their lunch hours to learn how to make a patchwork quilt. As part of its Make Do and Mend series, Newsnight joined them and exhibition curator Sue Prichard in the splendid surroundings of the museum's National Art Library Reading Room.

Photos and slideshow production by Sarah McDermott. Publication date Wednesday 2 December 2009.

Watch the final film in Newsnight's Make Do And Mend series on Thursday 3 December 2009 at 2230 GMT on BBC Two.
