Rebuilding Bamiyan after the Taliban

Lyse Doucet travels to Bamiyan, an Afghan province which came to attention in 2001 when the Taliban destroyed two giant Buddha statues carved on its hills, sparking worldwide shock and outrage.

There she meets Afghanistan's first and only female governor, Habiba Sorabi, who is working hard to rebuild the province now that the Taliban have left.
